Bali, Indonesia offers everything that I’m looking for and then some. Bali, otherwise known as Island of the Gods, is a breathtaking place with wondrous rice terraces, volcanoes, exotic architecture and culturally rich locals, plus of course, its fabulous beaches. I read somewhere that Bali is an idyllic family vacation destination, with activities that cater to children of all ages, and of course for adults as well. I first thought that going away on a tropical paradise and living in a lush, rain forest-like environment would cost an arm and a leg.
